Molding Process Technician
Pay Rate - $30/hr.
Job Description
We're seeking a Molding Process Technician with proficiency in injection molding machines and industrial robots to mold plastic components to specifications. This role involves planning and performing a sequence of operations, with responsibility for major decisions concerning the running or stopping of molds and machines. This role also includes supporting the training of new Molding Process Technician Trainees, assisting in the development of their understanding of internal processes and procedures, and performing Molding Associate duties during 1st article inspection process.
Hard Skills
Ability to set-up machines, heater boxes, cooling systems, valve gate systems, and robotics
Proficiency in setting up molding processes using decoupled molding principles
Capability to maintain quality parts by adjusting machine controls
Ability to monitor machine parameters on Mattec system
Forklift driving
Proficiency in data entry and analysis
Familiarity with adjustable measuring instruments such as micrometers
Knowledge of molding various plastic materials
Understanding of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical maintenance

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Grandview, Missouri.
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility. Shifts and days off are to be determined. The available shifts include 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm) and 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am). Shift differentials apply for 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends.
