Job Title: Switchboard Assembler
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Pay Range: $18.86- $20.63 (plus a shift differential)
Shift: 11:30pm - 7:30am / Sunday-Thursday
What’s the Job?
As a Switchboard Assembler, you will be responsible for building and assembling switchboards and wiring panels. Your day-to-day tasks include:
Using hand tools, air-driven tools, and power tools to assemble steel enclosures from various materials including steel, fiberglass, and copper.
Connecting wires between components, connectors, and contact points, and ensuring proper assembly according to mechanical and wiring diagrams.
Cutting wire to specified lengths and properly routing, twisting, wrapping, tying, and attaching wire to terminal points.
Modifying, reworking, refurbishing, and reassembling components as necessary.
Working from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, and verbal instructions to create electrical or electro-mechanical subassemblies.

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Ability to read blueprints/ diagrams
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and air-driven tools.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
