Landscape & Irrigation Assistant

DUTIES
o Assist in troubleshooting irrigation related problems o Assist in installation and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems o Maintain job records, complete work orders, and customer notes as needed o Assist in startup and winterization of irrigation systems o Operate and maintain company tools and equipment as needed o Assist in installation of landscape designs and features including hardscapes, plants, sod, and waterscapes, among others. o Assist in landscape maintenance tasks including cleanup, mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and weeding o Work alongside the business owner and learn in a rapidly growing company, keeping the customer as the primary focus
REQUIREMENTS
o Eligible to work in U.S., we will I-9 verify o Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite o Demonstrate dependability & efficient work practices o Great attention to detail o Positive and driven work ethic o Must have professional appearance o Spanish only speakers or bilingual applicants are welcome to apply!
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
o Working outside in all temperatures & weather conditions o Requires bending, stooping, reaching, walking & lifting, especially when maintaining in-ground irrigation systems o Ability to take direction and perform maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing and weeding o Have physical & manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment, tools, and use of digging tools (plate compactor, trenchers, Shovels, augers, mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) o Ensure overall good appearance of the property assigned o Exposure to dust, grease, noise, and chemical vapors (PPE is provided) o Ability to move and/or lift 50 lbs and ask for help for heavier items

o Position Opening: Immediate o Location: Grand Junction, CO & surrounding communities o Position Title: Landscape & Irrigation Assistant o Experience Required: None, will train on-the-job o Salary: $18-$21 per hour starting wage o Job Type: Currently Seasonal / Part-Time, but can develop to more permanent as positions open in the future o Hours: 20-40 per week o Schedule: Flexible o No High School Diploma required
