Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Our client is an electronics manufacturer for the medical device and cell phone industry. The production floor is clean room rated and meets static/electric safe standards. Maintenance Engineers will be expected to help complete a list of preventative maintenance tasks each day, answer down machines, and complete projects. They will work on PCBA machines (robotic circuit board assemblers), SMT machines (robotic/automated solders), and other testing equipment.
Hours are available for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with training on 1st shift for 1-3 months before moving to 2nd/3rd shift.
Responsibilities
Complete daily preventative maintenance tasks.
Answer and repair down machines.
Work on PCBA machines, SMT machines, and other testing equipment.
Independently troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on industrial machinery.
Work with 3-phase systems, schematics, volt meters, and electrical panels.
Essential Skills
3+ years independently troubleshooting industrial machinery.
3+ years of recent machine repair experience on manufacturing equipment.
3+ years of recent experience troubleshooting electrical issues on industrial machines.
Capable of independently troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC, robotics, Fanuc, SMT, and PCB.
Ability to work with small parts and good dexterity.
Ability to work Saturdays.
Work Environment
Extremely easy and ergonomic work. Very quiet and clean work environment meeting clean room standards. No hi-lo or fork trucks on the floor; everything is moved by pallet jacks. Air-conditioned facility.
