Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an In-House Attorney with a company in Goodyear, Arizona. The successful candidate will utilize their specialized knowledge of national, state, and/or local laws to advise and represent the organization in legal matters, and provide legal advice and counsel in support of business activities and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to support various business activities and transactions

• Utilize knowledge of national, state, and local laws to advise and represent the organization in legal matters

• Manage and administer case management software and systems effectively

• Utilize LexisNexis and other legal research tools to support advice and representation

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel, for documentation and record-keeping

• Handle claim administration and complaint handling as part of customer service

• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both internally and externally

• Maintain accurate documentation of all legal matters

• Apply knowledge of corporate law in advising the organization.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of In House Counsel or a similar legal role

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software is essential for this role

• Familiarity with LexisNexis and other legal research tools is required

• Experience with Management System software is an asset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites is necessary

• Previous experience with Claim Administration is desirable

• Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary

• Experience in Complaint Handling is beneficial

• Customer Service skills are required, with the ability to professionally interact with clients and colleagues

• Strong documentation skills are necessary, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports

• Knowledge of Corporate Law is essential, with the ability to provide legal advice and guidance on corporate matters.

Knowledge of the renewable energy industry is a plus.
