Driscoll Farms Seasonal Farm Laborer in Glyndon, Minnesota
As a Farm Worker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our vegetable farm. You will assist with planting, harvesting, weeding, irrigation, and other essential farming tasks. The position requires physical labor and an eagerness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Planting and Harvesting: Assist with planting vegetable crops, including seeding, transplanting, and harvesting at the right stages of growth. Weeding and Cultivation: Perform manual weeding and use tools or equipment to maintain healthy crops. Irrigation Management: Assist with watering crops using irrigation systems, ensuring adequate water supply. Equipment Maintenance: Operate farm equipment safely (tractors, tillers, harvesters) and maintain basic tools. Pest Control: Assist with integrated pest management practices, including monitoring for pests and applying solutions when necessary. Field Maintenance: Maintain farm infrastructure ( pathways, garden beds). Farm Market Preparation: Assist with washing, sorting, and packaging vegetables for local markets.
