The Global Workday Operations Manager is expected to be an integral part of the ITW Corporate HRIS team with a functional and technical understanding of ITW’S offering that includes Human Capital Management, Advance Compensation, Talent Management administrator experience. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of the HCM system, including data input validations, plus overseeing the management of HR intake requests. The Operations Manager will lead simplification projects across the enterprise that fall outside of the 80 initiatives that support the Americas, UK, Europe and Asia.
This person will act as an internal consultant to global HR stakeholders and be part of a team of Workday specialists that sit in Corporate HR and partners with Divisions, Corporate Functions, Information Technology and Human Resource peer groups. You will be expected to closely collaborate with teammates across the globe and ensure we are maximizing our Workday and Talent Acquisition investments that support the enterprise objectives and employee experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day operational and implementation support for Workday HCM, Advance Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Acquisitions, and other ancillary applications in use to support all tasks and activities that align to ITW’s Workday Roadmap including:
Monitor and Manage Global HR system(s) usage activities. Identify new, existing, and recommend changes to HR Leadership.
In conjunction with relevant stakeholders, we create and implement new and revised processes, system enhancements, and workflows to ensure global compliance with Workday.
Develop and deliver on the Advanced Compensation system design and roadmap that support the Enterprise objectives.
Leveraging knowledge of the business to develop solutions balancing business needs with Enterprise mindset.
Support user adoption by providing training and communication on how to use the HCM system effectively and efficiently.
Track and own product backlog and production support ticket requests submitted.
Manage relationships with key business partners to enhance the integration of Workday requirements into their divisions.
Consults on new business and technology initiatives to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated to mitigate risk.
Ability to work independently in a diverse, decentralized environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
Ability to learn and incorporate ITW’s Compensation Framework and apply to Workday application to support Enterprise initiatives.
Operating with a sense of urgency/a self-starter who thinks ahead.
Lead a high-performing HRIS team
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree is required
Compensation or HR Certification preferred
8+ years of Compensation Management, Compensation Certification, and Enterprise planning experience
5+ years of Progressive Human Resource Management experience with a focus on Talent Acquisition, Compensation Management
5+ years of system administrative experience involving HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Global Payroll and Data Analytics using Workday, Recruiting CRM (Phenom, Beamery), SAP Success Factors, Dayforce
5+ years of working directly with Corporate Function Leaders
Proven track record for Advance Compensation experience for Global Public Company that supports Merit and Bonus planning activities. (Hands on Experience)
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Hold current certifications for Workday in HCM, Advance Compensation, Talent, Absence, Advanced Compensation
Led multiple global Workday implementations & system optimizations (Hands on Experience)
Willing to work on-site 5 days a week at the Glenview corporate campus with flexibility on hours
This role will report to the Global Leader of HRIS and spend 35% of their time working closely with Compensation and other functional team members.
Compensation Information:
ITW considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, geographic location, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from$110,000 - $140,000 annually.
This position is eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan.
