POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources coordinator will provide a full range of support to the Corporate HR team. Key activities include performing daily transactions and process/policy administration; document management; supporting all phases of the recruitment cycle; maintaining employment practices and procedures; and leading and facilitating corporate events /activities. Additionally, the role will provide project support on various projects that will require data management and aggregation, and analysis of this data.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong project coordination skills and experience, and excellent Microsoft, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with web portals (i.e., SharePoint, Canva) for information storage and corporate communications. Must be flexible and able to work well with all levels of management and staff as well as outside clients and vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports HRBPs with the recruitment process from interview scheduling to onboarding activities.

  • Manage Corporate Workday transactions for people moves, job changes, supervisor org requests, etc.

  • Manage and facilitate new hire orientation program and employee experience activities.

  • Assists with corporate and employee experience events and activities including town hall meetings, retirement training, United Way/ Junior Achievement Campaigns, Service Awards program, Wellness activities, holiday celebrations and charitable giving, and other corporate campus communications.

  • Primary contact for (global) corporate employee HR inquiries and concerns, resolving issues and coordinating with various internal departments.

  • Supports other HR activities including leave management, immigration processes, and annual updates for new hire employee documents.

  • Manages and processes time/attendance data for payroll; maintains all necessary reports and employee records.

  • Utilize administrative procedures and digital tools to support the organization, including shared drives as tools to organize and retain data and documents.

  • Proactively identifies and leads process efficiency improvements and compliance projects.

  • Process HR department invoices and tuition reimbursements; submit for payment.

  • Answer unemployment claims and final verification requests.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent Human Resources experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment coordinating HR processes and activities.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Workday preferred.

  • Ability to work 5 days a week onsite at the Glenview corporate office with flexibility on hours.

  • Effective communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Skills.

  • Experience with SharePoint and Canva preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative to produce solutions in a fast-paced work environment.

Compensation Information:

  • The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $80K - $90K annually.
