Engineering Manager

Leven, Fife

Permanent & Full Time – five days a week on site

Closing Date – 30th June 2024

There has never been a more exciting time to join our Leven team, with huge capex investment across the site, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the asset care and engineering strategy.

Key Site and Team Facts –

  • 100+ Brands, 2,500 SKU’s & up to 40 million cases packed a year

  • Whisky, Gin, Vodka, Rum & a wide range of ready to drink products

  • Over 1.25m cases per week at peak

  • 1100 people including 3rd parties

  • 20 lines spread over three halls, with two new lines in the next 18 months

  • This role manages a team of around forty-five, with around sixteen direct reports. Mixture of engineering, asset care, maintenance, projects, and planning specialists

We are looking for a leader with these skills and attributes –

  • Technical engineering background, most likely from within a process manufacturing environment – you will look after a team across electrical and mechanical disciplines.

  • Influence and leadership – can pull teams and characters together to reach great outcomes.

  • Can plug in to high level strategy, translating aims and priorities to the team – ensuring buy in and commitment from within and outside of their direct reporting colleagues.

  • Comfortable and capable of managing up and down the stakeholder chain to effectively / efficiently achieve market leading results.
