Siemens Energy Team Lead Core 2nd Shift in Gibsonton, Florida

A Snapshot of Your Day

Will be working with the Team to ensure that the Core product is moving through the designated milestones, ensuring that the operators are safe and remain focused on their daily work lists, and that engineering, quality, safety or management help is provided when issues arise. As the first point of contact for the operators, the Team Lead will help problem solve and keep parts moving so that the team can accomplish its goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform work safely byfollowing all safety rules and providing recommendations to make the CoreDepartment a safe work environment.

  • Achieve team production andefficiency goals by working to meet all operational and quality standardsto ensure a high level of Manufacturing.

  • Partner with the Coredepartment supervisor to create a daily plan to meet Production targets.

  • Create and assign work listsfor each employee in the department, ensure that employees remainproductive, and produce quality work.

  • Performs direct Production Work50% of the time.

  • Other duties may be assigned asneeded and cross training as needed.

What You Bring

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Able to perform basic mathfunctions using the metric system and read Engineering instructions.

  • Previous experience as a coreoperator or Team Lead is preferred.

  • This position may require anexport license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry andSecurity and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense TradeControls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for thisposition.

  • Candidates with more experiencecan be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.

  • Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without the need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
