The position also supports compliance with corporate Contract Guidelines and other corporate policies related primarily to equipment contracts. This position manages contracts for these Protein business unit locations: Sandusky, Kingston, Russellville, Columbus, Apex. The Opportunity ... ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Incumbent will spend 75% on the following activities: Managing contract risk through diligent review, modification, and negotiation of contract terms. Interacting with internal customers (sales, engineering, general managers, controllers, directors, vice presidents, divisional presidents, internal counsel, corporate staff, other contract managers and administrators). Supporting creation and execution of Master agreements, Sales Intermediary agreements, equipment loans, leases, rentals & test agreements, and other miscellaneous business contracts. The remaining time will be spent on the following activities: Supervising assigned contract administrative personnel. Ensuring compliance with corporate Contract Guidelines, and corporate and business unit policies. Interacting with external customers (plant personnel, procurement managers, customer legal staff). Coordinating with corporate counsel in supports of occasional legal department initiatives. Coordinating execution of changes to Protein Conditions of Sale and Delegations of Signature Authority. Completing Deviation Authorization Documents and Contract Check Sheets. Ensuring timely maintenance of contract repository, master contract agreement lists, and PNA Contract Processes. Providing periodic reports related to equipment contracts. Training and advising internal customers/departments on contract matters. Why work at JBT ... EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree preferred in related field. 10+ years of experience in contract review and management. Legal training or experience is helpful.
