The role

What You’ll Do:
• Shape Our Cybersecurity Landscape: Lead the development and oversight of our cybersecurity architecture, ensuring it not only aligns with our business goals but also sets new industry standards—particularly with Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft Cloud services.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to define and prioritize cybersecurity initiatives that support our strategic objectives.
• Thought Leadership: Be a go-to expert on emerging threats and technologies, guiding our approach to cybersecurity.
• Innovative Solutions: Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to protect our critical assets.
• Secure Architectures: Architect secure IT systems, networks, and applications that meet regulatory requirements and security standards.
• Technology Selection: Support the evaluation and selection of security technologies, tools, and services that align with our security strategy.
• Scalability and Flexibility: Ensure our security solutions are scalable, flexible, and robust to support our growth and evolving needs.
• Research and Innovation: Conduct advanced research on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, contributing to our knowledge base and innovation.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure our cybersecurity solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and participate in audits and assessments.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to integrate security into all aspects of our operations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed of the latest developments in cybersecurity by participating in professional networks and continuing education opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or a relevant combination of education, professional training, and experience.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on solution design and architecture.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CREST Registered Technical Security Architecture (CRTSA), Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, or similar are highly desirable.
Skills:
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity architectures for complex, enterprise environments, with a focus on Microsoft Cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of advanced threat detection, incident response, and digital forensics.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute long-term cybersecurity plans.
• Ability to lead large-scale cybersecurity initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units.
