Job Title: Controls Technician
Job Description
The Controls Technician will support customers nationally in various environments, including meat processing facilities, nuclear power plants, ice production facilities, and seafood ports. Responsibilities include proficient use of Rockwell Automation software, simulating, testing, and debugging control systems, assisting with new equipment installation, and repairing equipment to maintain company standards. The role also involves training customers on equipment operation, collaborating with project electricians, conducting pre-installation meetings, troubleshooting, and commissioning both on-site and remotely.

Job Type
This is a contract-to-hire position (12 months).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Raleigh, North Carolina and some days remote.
Work Environment
The first three months involve a 'buddy system' training on-site, followed by travel to client sites with another engineer. The position allows for remote work from any state, with travel to client sites across the Southeast including NC, SC, Mississippi, Arkansas, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Alabama.
For Travel:
The workweek is Thursday – Sunday.
40 hours per week. Anything over that is booked as Overtime.
For Non-travel:
The workweek is M-F.
Hybrid, so can work from home.
