We are extending an opportunity for an Operations Specialist bilingual in English and Mandarin, located in Gardena, California. This role provides a critical function within our logistics operation, ensuring seamless customer service and efficient order processing. The position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, bridging the gap between temporary and permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Process customer orders accurately and promptly, adhering to specific customer requirements.

• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure order fulfillment and resolve any arising issues.

• Investigate and rectify customer complaints or issues related to shipments, damaged goods, missing items, and billing discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and issue resolutions in the company's database.

• Keep customers informed about the status of their shipments, including delays, changes, or other relevant information.

• Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering personalized and proactive service.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency, enhancing the overall customer experience.

• Use various computer applications, including CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and IBM AS/400 for daily tasks and customer service management.

• Ensure compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements for the logistics industry.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operations Specialist.

• Bilingual in English and Mardarin.

• Demonstrable experience with CRM tools.

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400.

• Experience with Management Systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with About Time software.

• Understanding of Compliance procedures.

• Proven Customer Service skills.

• Strong Documentation skills.

• Familiarity with Office Functions.
