Program Coordinator
EAC Network, a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 62,888 people in need through 100 programs across Long Island and NYC, seeks a Program Coordinator to work full time for its In-home Respite Services Program.
The Program Coordinator position is a non-exempt position paying $30 per hour at 35 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM and the office is located in Garden City, NY. The role reports to the Senior Director.

Primary Purpose of Job:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the In-home Respite Services Program.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain all records, statistics, and evaluations for the Program.
Record telephone intakes, and provide guidance and referrals for caregivers.
Schedule home assessments and conduct initial home visits.
Recruit, screen and train Respite Companions.
Conduct program outreach.
Monitor the collection of client fees.
Prepare and monitor Program budgets.
Prepare reports for EAC NETWORK funding sources.
Customarily and regularly exercises discretionary powers.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field required.
Minimum of three years of relevant experience working with the elderly required.
Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and computer skills.
Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
Must have access to automobile and valid drivers license to operate in NY State.
