As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in providing patient care, promoting health, and preventing illness. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Your responsibilities will include direct patient care, medication administration, patient education, and documentation of patient information.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patients' health status through interviews, physical examinations, and review of medical records.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs, including setting goals, interventions, and outcomes.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients' responses.
  4. Monitor patients' vital signs and other indicators of health status, and report any changes or abnormalities.
  5. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living, wound care, and therapeutic procedures.
  6. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, medications, and self-care techniques.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and support services.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  9. Adhere to established nursing standards, protocols, and procedures, as well as legal and ethical guidelines.
  10. Ensure patient safety by following infection control protocols, medication safety practices, and proper use of medical equipment.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.
  12. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during times of illness, injury, or end-of-life care.
