Amergis RN Cath Lab in Galveston, Texas
To Clarify call requirements for the Cath Lab RN Position:
The call currently is eight days in a five week period which includes one full weekend (Friday-Sunday) but worse case scenario is 10-14 days.
FROM THE DEPARTMENT:
There is call for the Cath/EP lab. Call starts once the last case is completed. The employee must respond to the call within 30-35 minutes. So they must live close by. There is a requirement to wear lead as much as 20 pounds for 10-12 hours per day.
Call can be 10-14 days. Currently call is 7 days that includes a full weekend (Friday-Sunday)
Unpredictable work hours. Patient care is the most important part of the job. So we may not leave at 1730.
There is late team and call team that will perform the last two cases of the day.
Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours wearing a lead apron of 20 lbs or less.
4 days/week with workday starting at 0645 and the first cases clear to place on the table at 0715.
13-weeks with option to renew
