Ambler Industries, LLC Landscaping Laborer in Furlong, Pennsylvania

Amber Industries LLC is seeking to fill twelve (12) temporary, full-time temporary peakload Landscaping Laborer positions for April 1, 2025 to December 15, 2025. Worksite Address: 760 EDISON FURLONG ROAD, Furlong PA 18925 and client sites in Bucks and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania.  

Job Duties:  Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, pruning, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Assist with planting shrubs and trees, putting down mulch, and weeding. Assist with cutting lawns with various types of mowers, weed-whacking, blowing leaves, and general landscape maintenance duties. 

Requirements:  No education, training or experience required. 

Special Requirements:  Must be able to perform physical labor outdoors for up to 8 hours per day in all weather conditions, including cold, snow, heat, and rain. Some OT and weekends required. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire upon suspicion of use. 

Terms and conditions of employment: $19.76/hr, 35 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7:30AM-6:00PM. Overtime available at $29.64 per hour. Hours vary depending on weather conditions. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.  Employees will be paid weekly on Friday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations.  On the job training available.  Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.  Landscaping Laborers will begin each day at the worksite address. They will then be transported, free of charge, to properties located throughout Buck and Montgomery Counties, PA to perform landscaping duties. They will then be transported back to the worksite address at the end of each work day. 

The employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. The employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Employer provides first set of uniforms at no cost to workers. Additional uniforms are available for purchase by the worker.  Such purchases are optional and for the worker's benefit and may be payroll deducted if elected. Employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging, or other facilities. Potential for IRA with a 3% company match after 60 days and after earning at least $5,000 with employer. After 60 days of employment, a worker is eligible for medical and dental coverage for workers who work 30 hours or more. Employees pay for the full cost for dependents on the policy, but the employee only coverage cost is $45, $50, or $60 weekly (depending on plan selection). Dental is $4.50 a week for the employee. 

The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.  From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.
