REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver License, with acceptable driving record
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills
Fundamental mechanical skills
Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to frequently lift heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
Ability to occasionally crawl, stoop, kneel, climb, or balance
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in Agronomy/Agribusiness or another related field
3+ years of successful sales experience
Previous industry experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative's Core Values
Provide Superior Customer Service Highest Standards of Integrity and Trust Continuous Improvement Being a Good Partner Achieve department goals for annual sale of each product
Attend all Heritage Cooperative agronomy meetings as directed by Regional Sales Director
Complete call reports and other documents by their appointed deadlines.
Deliver sales presentations directly to prospective customers
Execute the collection and input of "as applied" details into data platforms
Pro-actively review offerings with customers to maintain benefits
Promote profitability and sustainability benefits within product offerings
Responsible for developing a grower list that contains existing as well as potential customers
Responsible for the effective utilization of Heritage Cooperative resources designed to support and grow the agronomy business
Review customer request and find a best solution to provide a positive result
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Other duties as assigned
