Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Fresno, California
Description We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be tasked with account reconciliation and collections, as well as other duties related to accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Handle ACH payments processing and daily cash/payments transactions
• Perform account reconciliations and manage customer accounts, including making corrections and adjusting entries when necessary
• Oversee the termination and charge off processes, reviewing and verifying termination quotes to payoffs
• Handle insurance settlements, including title guarantee, payoffs, and termination checklists
• Manage internal payments and follow up for payments
• Handle account terminations and related tasks
• Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Collections, and Microsoft Excel to perform job duties effectively. Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Experience with billing procedures and cash collections
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with financial software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred.
