Service Advisor Responsibilities
- Outstanding customer service!
- Build trust and respect with customers, listen, and repeat back.
- Use active listening to engage and understand their vehicle issues and concerns.
- Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians.
- Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers and ability to advise and sell needed work.
- Follow up, keeping customers updated on their vehicles through the repair process.
- Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.
- Answer phones promptly throughout the day.
- Be helpful & accommodating (scheduling and transportation)
- Prominently display current promotions
Service Advisor Qualifications
- Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with customers required.
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical operations.
- Good computer, customer service, and communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
- A positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
