As an analog IC design engineering intern, you’ll be a part of making our customers’ visions a reality. You’ll work on designing innovative analog circuits in the field of power management – switching converters. Ideally you are available for a minimum of a 20 weeks internship starting in the first half of 2025.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Concept evaluation and design of DC-DC converter analog sub-blocks in Cadence Virtuoso
Partnering with design team to develop mutually agreeable design specifications
Analyzing trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and superior performance at a competitive cost
Participating in design reviews and creating the necessary design documentation
Supervising IC layouts to ensure a high-performance standard
Characterizing prototypes in the LAB to ensure that the design specifications are met
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering
Good academic record (cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher)
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
Experience with Cadence design and simulation tools is preferred
Basic understanding of analog circuit designs
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
