Thomas Daily versorgt die gewerbliche Immobilienbranche mit Nachrichten, Projektdaten, Transaktionen und Marktdaten und bietet unseren Kunden die Informationen, die sie benötigen, um wichtige, fundierte Entscheidungen zu treffen, die für ein erfolgreiches Unternehmen unerlässlich sind. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Research-Funktion, die wichtige Datenpunkte identifiziert, sammelt und validiert, damit unsere Kunden sicher sein können, dass die Informationen, auf die sie ihre Entscheidungen stützen, korrekt sind. Da das Team wächst, erweitern wir die Managementkapazität unserer Research-Funktion und suchen einen Team Lead Research (m/w/d; Vollzeit) für unseren Hauptsitz in Freiburg. Als Team Lead wirst Du eine Kultur der Zusammenarbeit, Transparenz und Kommunikation fördern.

• Management deines Teams von rd. fünf Researchern unter der Leitung des Research Managers

• Analyse und ggf. Verbesserung der Arbeitsroutinen und Workflows deines Teams im Sinne der Best Practice

• Verteilung des Workloads und der tagesaktuellen Sonderaufgaben

• Regelmäßige 1-1 Gespräche mit deinem Team

• Management der qualitativen und quantitativen Arbeitsleistung deines Teams mit Blick auf die Erreichung der Unternehmensziele

• Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Teammeetings (gemeinsam mit dem Team Manager)

• Einstellung und Einarbeitung neuer Mitarbeiter*innen

• Kooperation mit dem direkten Vorgesetzten (Research Manager) und weiteren nationalen und internationalen Managern bei verschiedensten Aufgaben im Sinne der Unternehmensziele.

QUALIFIKATIONEN

• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1 oder Muttersprache) und gute Englischkenntnisse

• Hochschulabschluss oder Vergleichbares

• Großes Interesse an Immobilienthemen

• Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

• Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit

• Führungserfahrung

• Sehr gute Problemlösungsfähigkeiten

• Strukturiertes, selbstständiges Arbeiten

• Erfahrung in (oder Interesse an) der selbstständigen Recherche von großen Datenmengen

• Gute Office-Kenntnisse

• Schnelles Einarbeiten in neue Systeme

JOB DESCRIPTION

Thomas Daily provides the Commercial Real Estate industry with news, project data, transactions and market data, offering our customers the information they need to take key, well-founded, decisions that are essential for a successful business. At the heart of this sits the Research function, identifying, gathering and validating key data points to ensure our clients can rest assured that the information they base their decisions on is accurate. As the team grows, we are expanding the management capacity of our Research function and are seeking a Research Team Lead (m/f/d; full-time) based at our headquarters in Freiburg. As a Team Lead you will continue to drive a culture of collaboration, transparency and strong communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing your team of around five researchers under the direction of the Research Manager

• Analyzing and, if necessary, improving your team's work routines and workflows in line with best practice

• Distribution of the workload and daily special tasks

• Regular 1-1 meetings with your team

• Managing the qualitative and quantitative work performance of your team with a view to achieving the company's goals

• Preparing and holding team meetings (together with the Research Manager)

• Recruitment and training of new employees

• Cooperation with the direct supervisor (Research Manager) and other national and international managers on various tasks in line with the company's objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Very good knowledge of German (C1 or native speaker) and good knowledge of English

• University degree or equivalent

• Management experience

• Very good communication skills

• Strong teamwork skills

• Very good problem solving skills

• Structured, independent working style

• Great interest in commercial real estate topics

• Experience in (or interest in) independent research of large amounts of data

• Good MS-Office skills

• Quick learner of new systems
