About the Role

The Instrument Technician is responsible for defined maintenance activities at the Middletown Site. This role provides instrumentation maintenance and repair responsibilities for controls and instrumentation equipment. The role maintains the machines based on preventive and predictive maintenance concept.

What You Will Do

  • Provide engineering input for safety solutions
  • Write and develop troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance plans
  • Instrumentation maintenance for all controls and instruments, projects, upgrades, or repairs for all associated equipment and linkages
  • Participate in troubleshooting, planning, and problem resolution
  • Provide material, time, and cost estimates for projects
  • Participate in installation activities with team members, vendors, contractors, etc.
  • Assist in developing electrical specifications for facilities
  • Participates in maintenance on call rotation
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Who You Are

  • Ability to interact and communicate will all levels of the organization
  • Associate degree or bachelors degree in Electrical / Controls of Engineering Technology
  • Paper Industry preferred but not required
