Supply Chain Specialist III (Process Analyst)

Summary:

The process analyst will join the Global Supply Chain Strategy and Excellence organization at an exciting time as Gilead rolls out SAP S/4hana ERP. The Process Excellence group is a specialist team of consultants within GSC S&E responsible for creating and governing the supply chain business process library, and supporting business process owners manage their process improvements. The process analyst will work with colleagues in supply chain planning, logistics, strategic sourcing, trade operations, affiliate markets, IT, and finance. A day in the life could include process mapping, setting up and assisting the facilitation of meetings and workshops, data analysis, and writing/reviewing process documents. The work is varied and touches many parts of the business.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of routine duties in support of Global Supply Chain Strategy & Excellence process management activation initiatives.

  • Compiles, records, and tracks documentation of business requirements for project and process improvement.

  • Collect and assist in creation of process documentation/workflows.

  • Review information and trends to ensure or advise on industry best practices. Bring inconsistencies and localization/customizations in business processes to the attention of management.

  • Assist in maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns.

  • Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review.

  • Assist in mapping operational roles to business processes and employees and staff that execute the process.

  • Communicate with other department representatives to determine status of projects, process mapping, and business role mapping.

  • Works on assignments that range from routine to moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Has completed assignments that range from routine to moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

  • Able to apply knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) on a daily basis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in related field and a HS diploma or Certificate to FETAC level 6 (GSL; OR Associates Degree and 4+ years relevant experience. OR Bachelors Degree and 2+ years relevant experience OR Masters Degree and 0+ years relevant experience.

  • Must have knowledge and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.

  • Demonstrates good written communication skills along with good analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Curiosity: actively seeks to deconstruct and understand a process or way of working for the purpose of identifying improvement opportunities.

  • Teamwork: collaborative, cross-functional projects, community or social enterprise, or team sports.

  • Process or data modelling: advanced MS Excel or Access, BPMN 2.0

  • Self- starter: can manage own workload in a hybrid work environment without direct supervision

The salary range for this position is: $86,275.00 - $111,650.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
