Legal Operations Analyst, IP Legal

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Anti-Counterfeiting/Global Product Security Team (ACT) as a Legal Operations Analyst. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing business processes, analyzing data to drive decision-making, and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams to support the company's objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities and Skills
Leads the maintenance and accuracy of the team’s incident case management system and other tools and technologies used by the team for day-to-day operations.
Creates, collects and/or files records in an organized manner as needed to support the team.
Direct day to day operations for ACT including data, records, vendors, processes, and procedure management.
Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Develop and implement solutions to optimize processes and enhance performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of process improvements and operational initiatives.
Collect, analyze, and interpret ACT’s data to provide insights and recommendations to the team.
Create reports and presentations to support team initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Extremely agile and able to take on new tasks/processes depending on needs of the team.
Work in partnership on a full range of projects for the Anti-Counterfeiting team by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Packaging/Manufacturing, Security, IT, and finance, as well as various business units.

Education and Experience
Minimum Education & Experience
Requires a minimum of 3 years work experience with a BS or BA degree or 2 years work experience with a MA/MS or MBA.
Excellent attention to detail and good judgment.
Excellent interpersonal, project management, business writing, and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills to perform multiple tasks.
Possess a strong interest in learning new skills that will best support the team’s success.
Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and a deep commitment to producing high quality work product.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The ability to work efficiently in a high pressure, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Advanced knowledge and experience using a number of other office software such as iManage, Teams, Workshare Compare, Adobe Acrobat, Access, Tableau, PowerBI, TeamConnect, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of administrative and office policies and procedures.
Experience in operations, project management.
The salary range for this position is: $107,270.00 - $138,820.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
