This position will be a Production Control Manager that supports the Transportation department.

What You Will Be Doing

The PC manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of all support activities associated with material and asset movement and coordination across the site.

•Responsible for Production Control discipline including business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, and employee development, training, and knowledge continuity.

•Will execute to the overall contracted strategy and formulate plans for mitigating risk for cost, tools, material, and schedule.

•Prepares and distributes performance metrics.

•Plans, organizes, develops, and integrates program level efforts as well as implementing processes, methods, and practices for business operations.

Basic Qualifications:

•Transportation experience

•Experience with Production/Production Control Processes and Procedures

•Fabrication experience such as order release, scheduling, &/or capacity planning requirements

•Experience with SAP analytical data/tools, CribMaster, &/or MAXIMO

•Experience cost, schedule, &/or technical data reporting results to various levels of leadership, internal, and external.

•Inventory Management Experience

•Previous leadership experience

Desired Skills:

•Experience with Microsoft Office tools

•Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

•Production and /or Production Control Experience

•Strong background in all processes of Business Operations

•Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written

•Candidate willing and able to engage on routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions

•Risk identification and management experience

•Experience in bid, proposal and estimating practices, and capital budget

•Previous Leadership experience for both Salaried and Represented employees

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
