Introducing an upcoming opportunity with Leidos for an Airborne and Ground Tactical Systems Operator (TSO) Instructor at Hurlburt Field, FL. If you possess a TS/SCI security clearance and have a passion for training, innovation, and adventure, this role is perfect for you!

What You'll Do:

As a TSO Instructor, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of AFSOC's elite operators. You'll be responsible for providing cutting-edge training through a combination of ground, simulator, and airborne events. Your mission will include:

  • Crafting Engaging Scenarios : Review, develop, and adapt TSO simulator scenarios to keep training relevant and challenging.

  • Creating Dynamic Curriculum : Prepare course materials that captivate and educate.

  • Leading Training Events : Coordinate, schedule, and conduct both classroom and in-flight training sessions.

  • Ensuring Certification Excellence : Track and implement changes to certification requirements, ensuring the highest standards are met.

  • Liaising with Key Stakeholders : Serve as the vital link between ISRG, subordinate squadrons, and elements of the intelligence community.

  • Hands-On Instruction : Instruct students on TSO equipment, providing expert guidance before, during, and after simulator and airborne training.

  • Classroom & In-Flight Training : Conduct training in both classroom settings and on-board aircraft to provide a comprehensive learning experience.

  • Supporting the Training Mission : Assist with TSO FTU training and ISRG training office functions as needed, along with administrative duties.

What Sets You Apart (Required):

  • Educational and Experience Requirements : A bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).

  • Security Clearance : A current TS/SCI clearance.

  • TSO Expertise : Previous qualification and experience as an airborne Tactical Systems Operator, including TSO instructor experience.

  • Mission Mastery : A thorough understanding of the TSO mission and Special Operations.

  • Team Player : The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

  • Curriculum Development Skills : Experience in developing and refining training plans.

  • Flight Readiness : Ability to obtain and maintain flight requirements, including a second-class FAA medical certificate and physiological training.

  • Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Tech Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
