Job Description
Job Overview:
The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and managing all integrated logistics support activities to include all Fort Walton Beach warehousing operations, shipping, receiving, and alignment with the company s inventory control strategy.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success managing inventory and kitting operations, as well as advanced knowledge of packaging and special handling requirements. Seeking self-motived individual with strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem resolution, and process improvement skills. Must be comfortable communicating with internal and external contacts, as well as working in cross-functional teams. Must have documented experience (SME preferred) operating daily within and maintaining accuracy within an ERP system such as Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, SAP, etc.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews and analyzes contract requirements and establishes planned logistic tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of contract requirements. Directs the preparation and implementation of integrated logistic support plans and logistic element plans.
Provides integrated logistic support input requirements to staff and reviews specification and contractual documents for planning factors.
Responsible for timely and accurate CDRL submission of critical Logistics data to USG Customer. Responsible for timely and accurate monthly and quarterly submission of internal governance/ compliance reports, ensuring strict adherence to Financial Control Framework (FCF).
Manages inventory control activities to ensure the efficient utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products; Manages inventory control compliance requirements on company-owned, customer-owned, and government-owned material.
Ensures the accurate processing of raw materials and deliverables through the ERP system and Contractor Inventory Control Point (CICP) management systems as required.
Serves as primary local government property contact; Responsible to ensure government property compliance, operations, documentation, and audit requirements are met.
Develops strategic resource and logistic plans based on program forecasts.
Resolves complex issues/problems utilizing comprehensive understanding of inventory control processes.
Develops and implements improvements in policies and procedures to promote improved compliance, efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
Establishes and monitors KPI s for productivity, accuracy, and delivery.
Establishes and enforces lead time expectations for critical warehouse activities.
Manages warehouse staffing, conducts performance appraisals, trains and develops subordinates. Oversees promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc.
Manages warehouse expenses, including labor costs, equipment maintenance and supplies.
Maintains knowledge of current shipping, warehousing, inventory control and continuous improvement trends in the industry.
Conducts data forensics and generates reports to identify root causes and corrective actions.
Participates in special project teams.
Manages cross functionally, frequently collaborating with quality, operations, planning, procurement, contracts, and finance.
Communicates effectively with all levels of management.
Ensures operations conform to the organization s policies and procedures, values, and federal, state, and local regulations.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities
This manager position will require the direct management or indirect management and oversight of:
Stockroom
Manages the receipt, storage and movement of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies.
Manages the execution of required periodic and special inventories. Accounts for inventory variances and facilitate adjustment/reporting protocols.
Analyzes flow of material within warehouses ensuring efficient warehouse layouts to optimize storage space and streamline product flow.
Ensures timely and accurate movement of material, physically and within the ERP system.
Ensures proper control and identification of government and customer owned materials.
Ensures any required kitting activities and all required ERP transactions occur efficiently and accurately to support operations and program needs.
Develops and enforces process lead time expectations for stockroom activity requests (kit pulls, part requests, project transfers, etc.).
Oversees shelf-life materials management processes, including proactively communicating with material planners and/or program stakeholders as expiration dates near.
Ensures ERP process adherence and accuracy.
Creates and executes routine and special cycle count plans as required by local policy and contract direction.
Identifies and resolves drivers of lost material and kitting delays.
Receiving
Oversees the receiving process, including checking incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy, visual inspection for damage, and entry into ERP system.
Communicates with planning to resolve issues delaying material receipt entry into the ERP system.
Ensures timely and accurate receipt of materials into the ERP system (dock delivery to ERP material receipt entry), and movement to next required process point (Ex. receipt inspection).
Ensures customer returns, warranties and/or repairs are received, identified and processed to the next step appropriately and in accordance with applicable BAE, contractual and/or government material management policies and procedures.
Shipping
Manages shipping and receiving with both international and domestic customers.
Coordinates and communicate with third party shipping agencies as required.
Successfully operates within customer and government shipping portals/applications as required.
Ensures assets are packaged/preserved, handled, and transported in accordance with customer and contractual requirements.
Executes the return of defective items both physically and within the ERP/QMS systems as required (RMA/RTV).
Ensures accuracy of all required shipment information.
Export Control
Successfully manages and oversee shipping and receiving from international customers to include formulation of Shippers Letter of Intent (SSLI).
With support from engineering, manages the classification of goods, technologies, and services based on the Commerce Control List (CCL) to determine their export control status.
Manages and liaises with the Export Control Officer by reviewing and classifying goods/technologies and determine restricted party screening, export documentation as well as advising internal stakeholders on compliance to prevent violation of international trade law.
Acts as the primary point of contact regarding shipping matters on exports.
Strong understanding of international trade regulations, particularly export control requirements for EAR and ITAR.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Experience and Training:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience working in inventory management. (Ex: Stock Reorders, Issues, Transfers, Inventory, Item Research and Government Property Disposition).
MRP/ERP business system experience (Deltek Costpoint preferred).
Knowledge of or certification for HAZMAT, IATA and CFR 49 dangerous goods.
Experience with Import/Export compliance.
Proficiency with excel, metrics, and KPI reporting.
Ability to balance work with multiple priorities and make quick decisions.
Knowledge of cycle counting practices.
Knowledge of Government Property Management principles, audits and systems (Ex. Sunflower, CAV, PIEE, DPAS, WAWF).
Knowledge of invoice management, tool control, and management and bar-coding IUID systems (RFgen).
Knowledge of safety practices, OHSHA 10 hour, OSHA 40 hour, or similar.
Proficient in stakeholder management and communication.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Secret Level security clearance.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95252 - $161928
