ArcBest U-Pack Sales Support Coordinator, Part-Time in Fort Smith, Arkansas

Currently, we are looking for a U-Pack Sales Support Coordinator, Part-Time to join the ArcBest team. The U-Pack Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the U-Pack sales department. This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and team communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios.

Your contribution may include:

  • Provide accurate and timely information on the entire suite of U-Pack solutions offered by ArcBest.

  • Learn and adhere to internal work processes and standard operating procedures.

  • Create and provide quotes through email and web-based channels.

  • Assist internal and external customers by providing detailed information and creative solutions to various logistical concerns.

  • Engage external U-Pack customers through email.

  • Understand customers’ complete moving needs, and explain how the organization's capabilities and services can provide a solution.

  • Determine and assess customer needs to create and deliver a market competitive solution and price through the development of a spot quote.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple complex computer programs.

  • Establish positive relationships with customers while determining the specifics of their needs.

  • Responsible for understanding target pricing based upon market conditions, costs, and value.

  • Communicate and work with other sales team members to enhance daily sales relationships and team building.

  • Responsible for knowing and applying the methods and philosophy of operations within sales, based upon departmental and company policies, procedures and work instructions.

  • Maintain a positive attitude in an intense environment.

  • Understand when to work with a sense of urgency and possess the ability to work under pressure.

  • Must be very detail-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment which focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience.

  • Create peace of mind by becoming a trusted, creative problem solver who is easy to do business with.

  • Other duties and projects, as assigned

As a U-Pack Sales Support Coordinator, Part-Time, you will be a member of the ArcBest Moving team in Fort Smith, AR. This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Education: High School Diploma / GED, required.

Experience: 1 year experience in sales, customer service, problem solving or logistics, preferred.

Additional Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred.
