The Childrens Place RA2 Admin Clerk in Fort Payne, Alabama

Fort Payne, Alabama

Job Summary:

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments as well as prepares items for items for shipment by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Data entry for Warehouse Management Systems

  • Following guided procedures to ensure each shipment is processed in a time-sensitive manner

  • Compares identifying information verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other

  • Examines incoming shipments, records shortages and damages, and reports all discrepancies to Supervisor

  • Maintaining files in an organized manner.

  • Normally assists supervisors and leads in running and troubleshooting various WMS reports. Frequently interacts with other associates when performing job tasks.

  • Communicate with logistic team regarding containers and appointments.

  • Guard check in/out containers from the system.

  • Print out daily work for QA and Receiving.

  • Send out daily container log to corporate and DC.

  • Contact outside venders to remove and update container empty list.

Education and Requirements:

Business knowledge and critical skills:

  • Basic PC skills are required. Experience and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. PKMS background preferred.

  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training.

  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos as well as to write simplecorrespondence. Must also possess basic math skills such as, the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

  • Prior Experience in an automated warehouse environment a PLUS

  • Must be able to take direction from multiple supervisors and manage projects and time effectively

  • Must have STRONG Communication skills

  • Self Starter/Self Motivator
