KBR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our USSTRATCOM Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) customer at Ft. Meade, MD. Our customer serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the Nuclear C3 Enterprise within DoD and oversees systems engineering and integration for the entire National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) infrastructure. The NEC SE&I Division activities span the complex systems, programs and capabilities that compose the NC3 enterprise.

Responsibilities:
Manage a team of on-site subject matter experts who provide engineering and analytical support for NC3 mission engineering, evolution, and architecture
Develop systems engineering and analytical products based on direct tasking form the Government
Interface with team leads and senior Government personnel
Participate in and prepare monthly contractor performance review presentations, briefing status of contract performance to the COR and Task Manager
Participate in program management reviews and adjust resources and schedules as needed
Submit Monthly Status Reports that identify the status of tasks for that period in terms of accomplishments, work products delivered, schedule progress, existing and projected risk and risk mitigation status, administrative matters, and actual cost
Qualifications:
Required:
Must have at least 10 years’ demonstrated experience in project management, and 2 years IT experience
Must possess a BS or BA degree in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or an educational equivalent
Strong business acumen; proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently
Must be able to organize, direct and coordinate the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects
Strong interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills
TS with SCI eligibility required
Desired:
Experience with DoD program management practices, reporting, quality guidelines, and financial management
PMP certification
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $150,000 - $190,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
