salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
Understand design drawings and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
Incoming raw material inspections.
Conduct visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Conduct visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications.
Mechanical gage calibration experience a plus.
Knowledge of GD&T and understanding of applications for use.
Sense of urgency.
Familiarity with inspection of metal.
Proficiency in using hand tools (micrometers, calipers, etc).
Excellent oral and communication skills.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
