Poudre School District Teacher Visually Impaired Orientation & Mobility- IS in Fort Collins, Colorado
Information specific to this position: This position is responsible for instructing academically functional classes to students who are visually impaired in coordination with current curriculum and within the framework of district and state content standards. Responsible for the services, instruction, and support that prepares students with visual impairments to travel independently and safely. The O&M Specialist travels to the students' assigned schools and/or homes to provide direct and/or consultative services relating to the visual impairment. These services enable the students to travel safely, efficiently, and independently in their homes, schools, and community environments. Valid Colorado Special Services license with appropriate endorsement. Special Education Specialist: Visually Impaired and School Orientation and Mobility Specialist required.

Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $52,000 - $74,999 annually.
This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position if selected, will retain contract status.
