Amentum C-12/King Air Army Transport Quality Control Technical Inspector (C-12 QC TI - FAA A&P) - FT. Bragg, NC. in Fort Bragg, North Carolina
The C-12/King Army Transport (C-12 QC TI) Quality Control Technical Inspector (FAA A&P) is responsible to the Site Supervisor. when performing QC duties and inspections required during actions performed by their respective site. QCI’s perform spot-checks on work in progress, final inspections on maintenance items and are familiar with the provisions and responsibilities in the various programs managed and monitored by QC.
A valid (FAA) A&P certificate is Required, with an FAA (IA) Inspection Authorization being strongly preferred.
Five (5) years’ hands-on maintenance experience on C-12/King Air 200/350/1900 aircraft is Required.
One (1) year of Army C-12/King Air QC Technical Inspector experience preferred.
US Citizenship is Required to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
Complies with FAA regulations as applicable.
Complies with written company maintenance and logistics procedures.
Must become knowledgeable, understand and comply with the requirements outlined in the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Transport statement of work.
Ensure aircraft records keeping procedures comply with the requirements outlined in DA PAM 738-751.
Perform inspections, conduct evaluations and report deficiencies in all areas of contract performance as detailed in the applicable Quality Assurance Procedures.
Evaluate on- and off- equipment maintenance tasks, review forms for accuracy, intent and necessity.
Authorized to stop work or prevent an aircraft from being released for flight if discovering of a deficiency creates an unsafe condition and/or presents a hazard to property or personnel.
Perform evaluations and inspections as outline in the (QAP) Quality Assurance Procedures, and the GOP.
Implement applicable Quality Control policies and procedures.
Maintain records of Evaluator Proficiency Evaluations.
Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Site Supervisor/ Management.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
A valid (FAA) A&P certificate is Required, with an FAA (IA) Inspection Authorization being strongly preferred.
Five (5) years’ hands-on maintenance experience on C-12/King Air 200/350/1900 aircraft is Required.
One (1) year of Army C-12/King Air QC Technical Inspector experience preferred.
Must be proficient in the use of weight and balance (AWBS).
Must have in-depth knowledge of (FAA) regulations, US Army and Hawker Beech maintenance, records and policies.
Ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit.
Medical/Physical. All personnel performing engine runs, ground taxi, ordnance loading, or operating self-propelled support equipment within 10 feet of the aircraft silhouette must pass a physical examination from a qualified medical professional prior to conducting these operations, and subsequently on a specified periodic basis, not to exceed 5 years.
Valid drivers’ license is required.
Inspectors must provide their own Inspector tools and tool bag.
Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned under the Union CBA.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization. US Citizenship is required to hold a US Govt Secret Clearance, and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility.
Additional and Physical Qualifications:
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Moves about both inside aircraft hangar and outside on aircraft ramp within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
Must have the ability to pull/push up to 50 lbs. and be able to stand/squat/bend/walk/climb/maneuver in and around aircraft.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Valid US Passport for International travel if requested for operation necessity.
May be requested to deploy to overseas locations with unit aircraft to support operational requirements, must be physically able to deploy (Army MOD17 Medical for CRC) if requested with unit aircraft to overseas locations.
Maintain a clean and organized workplace, promote housekeeping, safety and environmental control standards in all work areas.
