Tasting Room AssociateLocation: Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard, Fly Creek, NYPosition Summary:The Tasting Room Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by guiding customers through tastings of our ciders, wines, and craft beverages. This role includes educating guests about our products, history, and the cider-making process, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment.Key Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome guests to the tasting room.- Conduct tastings of ciders, wines, and other beverages, providing detailed descriptions and answering questions.- Educate guests about Fly Creek Cider Mill’s products and history.- Maintain a clean and organized tasting room area.- provide product recommendations based on customer preferences.- Enter sales in point of sale register.- Stock and replenish merchandise as needed.- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.Qualifications:- Strong customer service and communication skills.- Knowledge of or interest in ciders, wines, and craft beverages.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Must be at least 21 years old.- Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or a similar role preferred.Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for extended periods.- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Working Hours:- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.Wage: $15.00 plus cash tips.
Minimum Salary: 15.00 Maximum Salary: 16.80 Salary Unit: Hourly
