Job Description
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to management.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report those to management.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude.
Ability to change out a motor (480V).
Experience working in a highly automated, production environment.
Experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of PLCs, conveyor systems, automation, and Multivac machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Multivac machines.
Food and beverage industry experience.

Work Environment
The majority of the plant is climate-controlled and maintains a clean environment. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift: 5:00am-2:30pm, 2nd shift: 2:00pm-11:30pm, 3rd shift: 11:00pm-8:30am, Monday-Friday. There is 5 hours of overtime built into the standard weekly schedule, with one day off during the week and every other weekend off. The day off will be the same each week, though not everyone will have the same day off. The company offers a structured week with examples such as: Week A: 36 hours, Week B: 54 hours, Week C: 36 hours, Week D: 54 hours. Pay rates vary with potential earnings up to $86K/year.
