Genesee County Road Commission (GCRC), Flint, Michigan is seeking a Design Project Engineer to perform professional civil engineering tasks to include the following: prepares construction plans, specifications and contract documents for road, bridge, culvert and storm sewer design projects from inception through final completion. Prepares cost estimates, reviews plans, maintains pay estimates for roads and bridges, and supervises the work of lower level employees.
This position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with at least three (3) years of experience in Project Engineering, knowledge of computer software with emphasis on Microsoft Office/AutoCAD applications and a valid Michigan Driver's License. Licensure as a Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan is desirable.
Salary is $77,771, with comprehensive benefit package including, but not limited to, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, paid holidays and vacation, pension and deferred compensation. Resumes will be accepted through February 23, 2024. EOE
