Anticipated period of employment: 03/22/2025 to 11/15/25

3 months verifiable experience required.

Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables, fruits, berries, and field crops. These include: apples, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, beans, pumpkins, and squash. Use hand tools such as, shovels, trowels, hoes, shears, and knives. Duties include, tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, and pruning crops; applying pesticides; cleaning, packing, and loading harvested products; constructing trellises, repairing fences and farm buildings, and participating in irrigation activities. Set up and operate irrigation equipment, operate tractors, tractor drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow, and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand. Apply pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizer to crops. Inform farmers or farm managers of crops progress. Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection, application of pesticides and fertilizers. Clear and maintain irrigation ditches. Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or cost. All tools will be provided by employer. Those handling pesticides will be provided appropriate training.
