MAG SOA/TRMS Requirements Analyst in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highlyqualified Requirements Analyst to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Provide analytical support to the USASOAC G-8 includingresearch, mission and capability analysis, systems operational characteristics definition, systems integration, test andevaluation, acquisition, and logistics/interoperability analysis of aviation systems (manned and unmanned) insupport of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Special Operations ForcesCapabilities Integration and Development System (SOFCIDS) processes.

  • Provide expertise in the development of input for identification, validation, and prioritization of Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) aviation acquisition programs. The Contractor shall provide SOF operations, aviation and acquisition staffing subject matter expertise and analytical support to conduct in-depth analysis of SOF Aviation (rotary, fixed wing and unmanned) missions, gaps, and projected future needs in support of the Special Operations Aviation (SOA) Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program.

  • Interpret, analyze and evaluate narrative and statistical material provided by Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of the Secretary of Defense, USSOCOM, and Army Materiel Command (AMC) in the execution of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) as it relates to ARSOAC materiel development and acquisition processes.

  • Plan, coordinate, and provide intensive analysis for SOA programs as required related to the integration of doctrine, organizations, training, material, leader development, personnel, facilities and policy (DOTmLPF-P-P) domains.

  • Assess impacts across all domains and prepare appropriate material requirement documents and assist in development of appropriate plans including but not limited to Individual and Collective Training Program (ICTP), New Equipment Training (NET), Facility Support Plans (FSP), Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) and Material Fielding Plans (MFP).

  • Prepare, review and analyze data, ensuring conformance with guidance and instructions. The Contractor shall assist and advise project officers and program officers (PMs) in identifying and justifying program requirements, monitor compliance with instructions by checking the accuracy and validity of input.

  • Maintain liaison with higher authority to assure timely approval of programs and receipt of appropriate program authority. Provide recommendations to project officers in making necessary adjustments to programs as a result of revisions required by higher echelons.

  • Coordinate the Requirements Generation Process and supports the development, preparation, evaluation, staffing, and submission of Combat Mission Needs Statements. The Contractor shall develop and provide input for Mission Needs Statements, and Operational Requirements Documents, to include AOA, ICD, CDD, and CPD, detailing operational deficiencies, new required capabilities, and system modifications and/or upgrades; to enable the organization to stay on the leading edge of technology.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience developing and coordinating Joint Capability Integration DevelopmentSystem (JCIDS) documentation is required.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Word; PowerPoint; Excel)

  • TOP SECRET-SCI Clearance

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
