Intake/ Medical Records Coordinator/ Customer Service Representative

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is full-time time will work with the Administrator, and Director of Clinical Services in the areas of patient intake, medical records management, and front-line patient services. Assists the Billing Department when needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter patients into the computer system
  • Develop reports that accurately reflect the current census
  • Work with biller on billing issues
  • Assist with answering phones and speaking with patients, caregivers, and physician's offices.
  • Records and facilitates initial resolution of patient concerns or complaints
  • Maintain accurate records of referral status
  • Participates in the initial quality audit of charts.
  • All other duties assigned

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Works indoors in an Agency office

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Supervised by Administrator, Director of Clinical Services, and Biller depending upon area of performance.
  • Workers Supervised: None

RISK EXPOSURE: Low Risk
