Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing PCB assembly, soldering, and wire harness assembly with high precision. You will utilize basic hand tools, follow complex drawings and instructions, and ensure efficient and safe handling of electro-mechanical hardware throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
Perform PCB assembly, soldering (through hole), and wire harness assembly with high precision and attention to detail.
Use basic hand tools (tweezers, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) to perform assembly tasks.
Record, maintain, and retrieve data through paper or computer, as required.
Move assigned electro-mechanical hardware through production to the next operation, ensuring proper handling and flow.
Follow complex drawings, operation sheets, assembly procedures, material specifications, and verbal instructions for assembly tasks.
Fulfill technical qualifications by demonstrating proficiency in job tasks, including practical demonstrations of skills.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment to ensure efficiency and safety.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2-4 years of directly related experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in soldering (through hole), PCB assembly, and wire harness assembly.
Proficient in using basic hand tools (tweezers, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.).
Ability to interpret complex drawings, technical documents, and assembly instructions.
Capable of conducting continuity checks and other quality assurance tests.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
IPC certification is a plus.
Familiarity with IPC-610 and J standard.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Farmingdale, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
