Farmingdale State College seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Coordinator to support the University in the High School (UHS) program. UHS is Farmingdale State College's concurrent enrollment program, partnering with over 100 high schools, and providing over 6,000 high school students with college credit each year. Notably, FSC is the only SUNY 4-year institution accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships.

This role will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operation of the UHS program by providing administrative support, communications and managing essential processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support, such as sending correspondence about program updates, meetings, events, activities, and send follow-up reminders.

  • Primary point of contact for program-related inquiries via phone and email.

  • Assist with registration activities, such as looking up student records, posting payments, sending communications (i.e., links to payment), verifying student course prerequisites.

  • Book rooms and invite groups to UHS Partner's Meetings and UHS events; communicate and provide support for events.

  • Generate invoices and manage activities related to purchasing and requisitioning, and follow up with schools regarding invoices.

  • Collect, circulate, and track partnership agreements.

  • Maintain and update the UHS website with accurate and current information.

    Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree awarded by May 2025.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two years of full-time progressively responsible experience.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Experience working in dual/concurrent enrollment, or in a high school.

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, or similar programs.

  • Graduate of Farmingdale State College.

    Additional Information:

This is a full-time UUP position.

  • For the first 10 working days, beginning Friday, March 28, 2025, and ending Thursday, April 10, 2025, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale.

  • CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: Saturday, April 26, 2025

  • SALARY: $50,000 + $3,400 in downstate location pay = $53,400 Total Compensation.
