Summary
Parker Meggitt are looking for Mechanical Engineers, Software and Systems Engineering Graduates to join the business, working at our Fareham site.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent or upcoming graduates, to work within an established Engineering team, and learn how to utilise your existing knowledge in a practical environment. At Parker Meggitt Fareham, you’ll be responsible for capturing and deriving requirements, designing innovative solutions using advanced tools for modelling simulation. You will follow robust configuration control, design review, and change management process required for safety critical products. You’ll plan and perform rigorous testing to ensure designs meet the highest standards and you’ll support our customers through aircraft testing and certification.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Electronics Engineering or Computer Science – is a must
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal and team-building skills
Decision making skills
Analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports and present findings
Well-organised, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
