Are you looking for a fun, flexible summer job? Blaze Credit Union is seeking several people to promote Blaze at various events including St. Paul Saints games, parades and/or other community festivals. The events are mid-April through end of September and are scheduled ahead of time. This position pays $20/hr, includes co-branded Saints/Blaze 'gear', as well as parking reimbursement. Must be available evenings and weekends. Training is provided. Event Assistants will begin working mid-April. As an Event Assistant you will: Promote Blaze at various community events by engaging with event attendees, discussing Blaze products and locations, and giving away promotional materials. Set up, take down, sort and transport promotional materials, maintain and updateinventory for events. Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed. Requirements: Engaging conversational skills are desired. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization as a Blaze Ambassador. Must be able to walk and stand for several hours at a time, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, with the ability to work outside in rain, cold or heat. Opportunities to wear mascot costume - must be able to safely handle the weight of the costume and its confines.
