LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES - 41 O’Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450; Various Locations
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:July 10, 2025 – August 20, 2025. Hours TBD by location. Pre and post summer trainings TBD.
Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:
June 4th = O’Connor Academy, eStart, Transition/Employment, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)
June 11th = Creekside (BUP Unit)
June 12th = Bird/Morgan
SALARY RANGE:$32.33 - $52.43 per hour or your 2025-26 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.
DUTIES:
Complete comprehensive evaluations (TILLS, TAPS, CTOPP, etc.) for school age students.
Collaborate with Audiology staff and parents to schedule evaluation appointments.
Team with Audiology staff in writing interdisciplinary evaluation reports.
Provide thorough and timely reporting consistent with Department policies for caseload and billing.
Participate in departmental, team, and CSE meeting as necessary.
Establish and maintain a weekly schedule.
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with other professionals, parents, students, and department colleagues.
Maintain credentials through ongoing professional development related to Audiology processing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped/Teacher of Students with Speech/Language Disabilities.
NYS License as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
Experience with school age special and general education populations preferred.
Experience with itinerant service delivery models preferred.
Experience with neuro-developmental approaches preferred.
Experience and/or knowledge of language processing, auditory processing, and literacy.
Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
