Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Supplier Quality Manager ( Level K) to support our Supplier Quality Team in Everett or Renton, Washington.

This position will manage the Supplier Quality In Service and Component Reliability Investigation teams. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and is looking for a development opportunity. The preferred candidate will be able to develop and present information to suppliers, employees, and executives.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance.

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in leadership, either formal or informal, leading teams in a cross-functional environment

  • 3+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

  • 3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS).

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Lync.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management

  • Experience creating and delivering presentations

  • High proficiency in written and verbal communication.

  • Experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or a union-represented workforce

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: 119,000 – 161,000
