The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager with a specialization in instrumentation and control systems (I&C) as well as SCADA for water and wastewater facilities. In this role, you will lead a team through all phases of project execution, from proposals and business development to conceptual design to construction and commissioning. Your expertise in SCADA and I&C engineering will be key in ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability.

What you can expect to do here:
Lead project teams in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater facilities with a focus on SCADA and instrumentation and control (I&C).
Develop project scope, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Oversee the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular project meetings, progress reports, and presentations to communicate project status and milestones.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 15 years experience in engineering and 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the design and construction of water and wastewater facilities.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on I&C.
Experience in I&C engineering, including PLC programming, SCADA systems, and process automation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are desirable.
