Aerotek Janitor In Hospital in Escondido, California
Job Title: EVS Technician (Janitor)
Pay: $20/hr
Location: Escondido
Contract or Long Term? : Long term opportunity
Description:
Cleaning patient rooms - taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, sweeping, disinfecting around the room
Cleaning in high and low areas
Cleaning in administrative offices - wiping down, taking out trash, sweeping and mopping
Cleaning hallways - sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, disinfecting, and other duties may be assigned
Removing dirty linens and replacing with new ones
Collects/stores/transports biohazardous waste
Stocking carts with cleaning supplies needed for that shift
Making sure that supply closet is stocked
May clean up urine, blood, feces, and other things that you would see in a hospital
Adhering to PPE guidelines
Interacting with patients, visitors and staff
May lift/push up to 50 lbs.
Requirements :
1+ year of cleaning experience
Comfortable working in a hospital environment
