Cartamundi Strategic Account Manager in Erlanger, Kentucky

USPC Strategic Account Executives are essential to the business, representing our industry-leading brands to the largest casinos in the world. They are leaders who possess a strong entrepreneurial drive, demonstrating creativity and initiative to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

The Strategic Account Executive – Gaming Channel, Casino – East Region will lead customer retention and growth areas. Primary responsibilities include, learning all aspects of the North American Table Game Casino Business, Bee Playing Card product benefits, and the USPC business model. While working closely with Casino Team Leadership, the Account Manager will lead and own the responsibility of driving profitable business retention and growth, influence purchasing decisions as well as practicing conceptual selling techniques while utilizing data-based presentations and relationship-building to close deals. The Account Manager will develop and support our branded product by recommending product strategies that are based on a deep understanding of casino needs.

USPC is seeking candidates who are driven leaders, analytical problem-solvers, and excellent communicators. Equally important, candidates must have proven skills in planning and managing priorities with attention to detail. While some administrative work is necessary, we lead a continuous improvement culture to drive efficiency and effectiveness. We expect teammates to deliver on commitments by working effectively with diverse groups of people (internally and externally) through creativity, discipline, and initiative.

What you’ll do as a STRATEGIC ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE- CASINO :

Contract Renewals

  • Timely renewal of existing supply agreements to enable efficient production and maximize profitability within the group strategy and objectives.

  • Support the renewal of corporate agreements by building relationships at the property and regional levels so we can rely on those customers’ voices of support within their corporate decision-making hierarchy.

  • Influence all purchasing decisions as well as practicing conceptual selling techniques, data-based presentations and relationship-building to close deals. This process includes developing and supporting our branded product, the mix, pricing recommendations and product strategies based on a deep understanding of casino needs.

  • Voice of the Customer inside USPC and Cartamundi Entertainment, and be their Champion while representing and protecting the Company

    Customer Engagement

  • Customer contact and visits to support the relationship outside of contract renewal and be comfortable with leading virtual meetings with full audio/video.

  • Understanding of customer’s needs and ability to translate these to execution with the Sales Support and Customer Service Teams.

  • Attend Tradeshows and Industry Events, as necessary.

    Success Measures: Customer Acquisition

  • Focus resources – time, effort, and creativity – to support target growth rates with existing and new products/services.

    Customer Retention

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate customer needs

  • Enabling the team to maintain a 95%+ retention rate of existing customers as measured by YoY contract renewal of sales $.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong oral, and written communication skills

  • Must show proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and functional groups

  • Ability to make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered and analyzed

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

    The position requires employees to apply for and earn licensing in required gaming jurisdictions.     SKILLS:

    Effective uses of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems such as SalesForce.com and MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook e-mail for reporting and communication.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to analyze data including purchase and price history, comparable over time and across customers, customer segments and channels, timeline planning, and understanding key business metrics and terms. (Price, Margin, Discounts, invoice, purchase order)

  • Ability to create summary reports

Physical requirements and working conditions:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to travel 50 percent of work time to customers and tradeshows.

  • Ability to work overtime and evening hours engaging customers; occasionally on weekends with short notice.

  • Candidates in the greater Philadelphia area preferred, but open to Eastern Timezone location for the right candidate.
